Heres how my network is connected.
internet leased line -- cisco router-- switch - endusers-----------------> this is all wired network.
there is a ethernet cable from switch to ethernet port f 0/0 on cisco router.
ip address of this port on cisco router which also servers as the default gateway (to internet) for internal users is 192.168.1.1 and all internal users have ip from the same range.
there is one F0/1 port on cisco router free on the Cisco router in a shut down state.
the external serial interface has a internet ip and is a point to point link.
we have NAT configured on our Cisco router with a pool of 5 static ips in it. We are now going to deploy a wireless solution for our Laptop users. In view of that my boss has already bought a new NETGEAR wireless router. how can i incorporate this router in our present setup. Netgear router has single "internet" ethernet port and few lan ethernet ports.but i dont see where and how to connect this router and how it will work. I see a problem with distributing ip address to internal wireless users.
please somebody help me out.
The newspaper ad lists $0 down, 12,000 miles per year, with a $189 monthly payment. It's a 4 door, 4 cylinder, automatic, LE. What would be a good initial offer? I'd like to start at maybe $160/month as a payment. Is that too low, should I go lower? Can anyone even tell without seeing the car? Thanks.

(This is my daughters' question)
Hi I ride horses and I have been riding for about 6 years. I do Hunter and Equitation. I am about 4'9 and ride different ponies and horses every week. I jump about 2 feet 0 inches to 2 feet 9 inches. Where I ride, they host 'schooling shows' where the riders from the barn compete with each other. I have done a few of those at about 2 feet jumps and 2 feet 6 inches jumps. I want to graduate to real shows where other barns can compete too.
I feel very confident competing at my own barn, but every year when I choose between schooling or real shows I get scared of competing at that new level.
I already have a horse I know I am going to show, so I don't have to worry about that. Just I need confidence, and some tips on getting ready...
1. Before going to a show, what is the best way to groom/wash my pony? (she is dark brown/ white paint with a black/white mane and tail.)
2. My ponies/ hooves are mostly white on all of them, although there are a few black stripes in them. Should I paint the hooves black or just moisturize them?
3. My pony can get fast and sorta crazy when jumping. And on the flat at the canter, I have to make circles in almost every corner to slow her down. How can I slow her down? (NOTE: at the shows we can NOT use Ace/ medicine to calm them down)
4. I don't yet have a show coat, where can I find the best deals?
5. Most of my friends who show lease their ponies and have there own saddle, saddles pads, etc. My mom says a saddle is too expensive at this current time. Do you think I should save up for my own?
Any other tips would be awesome! Thanks for your help! Please answer soon!oh yeah, her bit is a d-ring snaffle with rubber coverings and she uses a martingaleoh and another thing, my daughter is 12
I am uneducated in leasing a vehicle as I have always purchase my vehicles. Here is my situation. My wife and I have taken pay cuts and want to down size our car payments. Because of our jobs and where we live, we need two vehicles. I have a VW jetta that is grossly upside down due to paying too much for it and high mileage. Our other vehicle is mercury mariner that I could sell for what I owe, if not a little over. I drive my jetta a lot and plan to put a ton of miles on it. Our SUV, we only drove about 13000 miles last year but could easily have done less. I was thinking about maybe selling the SUV and leasing a vehicle. This means I would have my purchased vw which I can drive into the ground, and then a leased second vehicle. Does this sound like a good idea? Would this help lower my monthly costs? Are there any leases that I could go 0 down on (2,500 bucks seems to be the magic number)? How does insuring a leased vehicle work? Any help would be great and in the mean time, I will continue to research. Thankx!

Okay, pretty much everyone here knows I'm getting married and that my fiance lives with me & that I pay all the bills.
He doesn't have a job, but is looking for one. We moved to the area about a year ago, and he's just now started making local friends. I'm very happy he has friends. They all hang out often, and are pretty good people, just with a bit of a MJ addiction.
NOW - let me say first off that his new friends are helping me and my fiance out a lot. I've had to save money for important things which leaves my budget at about 0 for food and gas and any other essentials. I still don't have enough money for the business trip I'm required to take in 2 weeks. They'll reimburse me, but I can't even afford to take out a loan right now. Our old roomie is getting a loan so he can move into an apartment with his fiance. He's being so generous as to request money for us so that I can go to the trip and pay him back afterwords. He's also bought us some food so we can live. I'm not asking for advice about money or food. He's staying over the week, and he's giving us the money because he and my fiance are best friends. I don't mind that he's staying over.
Now - moving on - his new friends have been helping us out with gas money, and trying to fix my car troubles. I really appreciate all their help and their bonding with my fiance and all, but I'm really starting to have issues with them.
The only issue I have: They hang out at my apartment 7 days a week. I usually work overtime and have an hour and a half trip commute for work each way. When I get home, I'm exhausted and all I want is food, TV, and sleep.
For the past 2 weeks, his friends have been at the apartment all but 2 days. Usually they're sleeping over. My lease says I'm not allowed to have guests over for more than 7 days. I don't mind if they come over often, but practically every single day is really killing me. I enjoy my privacy and like doing stuff when I'm at the apartment that I wouldn't do in public.
I appreciate that my fiance has friends and that they're good people and helping us and all that, but what I'm asking for is that they only spend 4 days over at the apartment per week instead of 7. I'm willing to go as high as 5, but it would severely put me out for it to be every single day. I hate being on my best behavior at work only to come home to entertain guests. And that puts my quality time with my fiance at about 0.
Again, I don't mind having them over, but they're really making it their prime hang-out spot when they just barely know us. If it weren't for them helping us out so much I would say I'm being used.
I've asked my fiance to cut the amount of time they're over here down several times before, but he just doesn't listen. I was having severe pain and stomach cramps when I got home yesterday because of an adverse reaction to medication I just started taking, and he had his buddy spend the night! So, it was my fiance and I and two guests.
Am I in the wrong? Should I stop pushing him to cut the time down? Please, I would like honest answers.
Thanks! Please remember - I don't mind them spending the majority of the week over (4-5 days), but 7 is killer.I spend time on here when I'm between projects. I'm a fast typer, and quick with a computer. There are days I go without touching this site. And most people shove piles of work at me at 5:25pm. I love those people (High Sarcasm.)Please note: I can easily live off PB&J and Ramen Noodle. We have enough dry goods to last us until I can get up the funds, but they're supplying us with meat. And the one who's supplying the food is the one who's staying over who used to be our roomie. I don't mind him being over at all! He respects our space and doesn't require a lot of company. They're ususally over to play video games and yak it up. During the day time they go out together and look for work. If it weren't for the upcoming wedding and all the car troubles, we'd be OK on funds. I've already paid $2.5 grand on the wedding, and 2 grand on car tune-ups. I just don't have the money to cover anything else at this point. And there's only going to be 30 ppl at the wedding.I've been with him for 8 years and finally said yes to his proposal. There are millions of reasons I'm marrying him - he's not leeching off of me, and he really does support me a lot in his own way. I don't want to write a novel about everything in our relationship. I just wanted to know what people thought about this specific issue. That's all.He asked me to marry him month 1 of us going out. I didn't say yes until last year (at that time after 7 years of us dating). Does that honestly sound like a woman who's desperate for marriage?
I keep seeing news letters through my email sent from Infiniti and BMW, they are offering New 2010 328i sedan models well equipped from $30,000 when it was orginally priced at an MSRP of $36,000 or for example a 2010 Infniti G37 (Journey) sedan with an MSRP of $37,275 and now with a discounted price of $30,999. Do dealers actually discount that much for cars they need to get rid of by the end of 2010 inorder for the new 2011 shipment to come?? So basically its cheaper and more affordable to by a vehicle once the end of the year comes right? I mean the promotions they are giving are crazy, $298-$300 per month for a 2010 Lease on a BMW and Infinti with $0.00 down.
So im paying 222 for 35 months and i have the car for 3 years. is this a good deal? i chose to lease because i cannot afford a down payment for a car loan and while i have a decent credit score (692) i wont be able to get a car loan because i dont make enough to afford car payments.Im a college student. entering my third year. I only drive 3 miles to class each day. And the car i used to own i must have put in 5k over the course of the past 3 years. So did a get a good price on the lease. im only paying 222 for 35 months, that is it. no down payment as i stated before. If it matters i live in Albany NY. this zero down payment thing is part of the honda clearance going on until sept 7th. my car i usually use has been acting up the past few days so i dont want to have to put another 500 in it.until Americans can make a decent car, i dont intend to buy one anytime soon. deal with it.it does include tax title and everything except insurance which i pay seperately through state farm. and i have been driving a white 97 malibu for three years. no, i wouldnt be satisfied with a 94
I want to lease a car that is around 30 grand...and have no idea what is best when it comes to the lease part. If it's $0 down and etc..if i wanted to put more money down to make the monthly less would that be a bad idea? And for 30 grand how much money should i expect for a monthly payment? Just need a general idea.
I have a 2003 model car that recently had a piece in the transmission go out. They want around $800 to fix the car. It has almost 110k miles and has had alot of electrical issues, as of late. My husband, a mechanic says to try to get a dealer to buy it or sell it privately. The spedometer does not work and stays at "0". The gas meter also goes up and down and beeps because its confused and thinks the car is empty when it is not. What can we do? So far, we've had no interest in the thing. I owe about $5600 on the car and the lease is not up until a year or two. What can I do? We have a toddler who needs to be in a safe car and this car will not pass inspection (my husband is also an inspector and said it will fail on the spot, period).
So..my grandpa owns a big car dealership in WA, and he and my dad have worked together to get me a really good deal on a car. We've been talking about leasing vs buying, and I need some outside help.
Basically, they're offering me $100 over involice on what should be a 23,000 car. If I lease, it'll be 271.22/month (with gap insurance), at 0.006%. A $1000 down payment, and the first month's payment is covered with a grant for recent graduates.
So basically either way, lease or buy, I'm walking out with a 2010 car with 43 miles on it, no cash exchanging hands.
So here's where the debate comes in.
If I buy:
After 5-7 years, the car is mine.
No mileage restrictions
Don't have to be overly-careful about excessive wear/tear
BUT: Higher interest (normal 4-5%), interest paid on entire price of vehicle, and paying for a new vehicle for the entire term of the finance.
If I lease:
Car is mine for 3 years only
Have to be careful about wear/tear and mileage
0.006% interest paid on first 9,000 or so of car.
After lease is up, if I choose to buy, I'm financing a "used" vehicle, not the price of a new one
If I get bored after three years, I can trade up, or get out.
My husband and I drive about 15,000 a year, so we'd have to cut that down to get under the 36,000 limit. We are not interested getting a "forever" car - even if we bought a car, we don't see ourselves keeping it for the life of the financing even.
Terms of lease: 36 months, 12,000 miles.
Only paying about $27/month sales tax.
Insurnace would only go up by $128 for six months (leasing or buying)
No other fees at all - not a single dealer charge, etc. Like I said, my dad is hooking me up.
We just had our used car die on us. We bought a 1998 Ford Explorer for $1800 cash. Never had a car payment in our lives. We liked it that way. But we don't have enough in our savings for another cheap used car. We've had it 18 months, and it only lasted us 20,000 miles. We don't want to go through that again. The lease is looking appealing because of the warrenty covering the life of our "ownership."
Please don't say "never do this" or "always do that" - some reason behind your answer would be really great!
Thanks!
My daughter lives in Boston and I live in Chicago. She's considering leasing a Toyota Rav4 and I said I'd co-sign for her. My dilemma is the prices are different in each place. In Chicago the current lease offer is $0 down and $250/month for 36 months. In Boston It's $1999 down and $200/month. Over the life of the lease the the total cost is just about a wash but I'd rather have the $0 down payment deal. So how do I swing something like that without one of us traveling? I realize that if I buy it in Chicago and somehow get it driven out to her there will be 1000 miles on it right off the bat and that cuts into the total miles allowed but I'm willing to live with that I guess. Thanks for all of your input! Seems like hardball negotiating is is the way to go. Not my strong suit but I'll try. I guess I have an advantage in that I won't be on their home turf -- I'll be negotiating either by phone or email and I'm not in a hurry. Sorry that I can only pick 1 best answer.
Its 219$ monthly payments and 595$ acquisition fee which is going to be covered over the period of the lease. The lease is for 42 months. Would any1 have a rough idea of how much would i be paying in total including taxes and everything else?
This is what's listed on the site "$0 Down Payment, $0 Security Deposit, $0 First Month's Payment= $0 Due at Lease Signing. Tax, license, title, fees, options and insurance extra. Monthly payments include $595 acquisition fee."
I know i have to pay insurance separate and have to pay around 400-500$ for the title and stuff.
