Yet the average person can't get a loan for any reason at all these days...
The banks have been given the money, why do you think they're not lending it out?And do you think it was just a stupid "oversite" that there weren't specific stipulations and controls as to how our borrowed money could be used by those borrowing it? Or was it intentional?

Thanks Davida for posting the information. You must have been busy with all that research. I've been busy trying to coordinate offers of help for the family. Someone has given them temporary use of a home to live in. It needs to be cleaned and furnished, but the community and extended family is helping out. They started some of the cleanup at the burn site today, what a mess. God is so wonderful in how he takes care of his people.
Need to add one more to our list of needs extra prayers:Andrea (from work on the google site) Thanks to everyone for the help. I'll need it more in the next few days as I don't have the time I used to have online. Please add someone to the prayer list. My best friend's mother is very ill (under hospice care) and either to strong or too stubborn to go peacefully. *sigh* We've all been keeping vigil since she declined on Monday evening and it's very difficult on us all. These folks are my family so we appreciate any prayers. Thank you very much.
Andrea

I am interested in purchasing a bank owned home that was listed at 169,900. My realtor seems to think that this house was listed below market because it is a pretty nice house and it has a fantastic view of the pacific ocean and downtown San Diego California. I initially offered 180,000 on this house with 20 percent down payment with the seller paying 3 percent of the closing cost. My realtor informed me today that there are multiple offers on this home and the seller sent him a email asking for our highest and best offer.I actually found out that there are 10 offers and the house has only been on the market for 5 days. I inturn offered 182,000 with 20 per cent down with the seller paying 1.5 percent of the closing cost, which comes to 2,730.00. How would you rate my offer on a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best.
Thank you in advance for your answers!!
